This is Still the Place: Utah's 1897 Pioneer Jubilee

The Prairie Schooner float, shown here at Liberty Park with Handcart Pioneers, was Float #28 in the Pageant of Progress. Participants relished in the opportunity to wear pioneer clothing and use pioneer articles to imitate their brave ancestors.
